Couple Reports Being Stalked At Home, Through Store

An investigation was initiated during the weekend after a Five Points couple reported being stalked at their home and inside a Lawrenceburg business.

The nineteen year old female victim reported she and her boyfriend had left their Gamble Road home around 12:45 p.m. She said they met her ex-boyfriend on their roadway and that he made an offensive gesture.

Fearing that he would go to their house, the couple turned around. When they arrived home, they said he was already in their driveway.

The victim said that the ex-boyfriend, with whom she shares a child, attempted to start a fight with her current boyfriend. He finally left the premises after being told repeatedly to do so.

The victim told deputies they made a trip to Walmart to pick up some items for her child. She said while they were shopping, they were approached once again. She said the man again attempted to pick a fight with her boyfriend.

She said she got her child out of the buggy and they began to walk toward the exit. She said the man followed them on the other side of the aisle, arguing with them.

The couple drove to the sheriff’s department to file a police report. While en route, they said the man passed them, again making an offensive gesture.

The couple was instructed how to obtain an order for protection in an effort to prevent further such incidents.
